FisHING
The Sikunga Conservancy has removed more than 500km of nets in recent years. This has brought on an abundance of indigenous fish species and sportsfishermen can enjoy chasing after Tigers aka "The River Dog", a multitude of bream species, nembwes and various other species. This catch 'n release environment will ensure, whether you are fly fishing or casting old-school, you will get to share your monster on "the gram." The option is available to rent fishing boats, gear and guides. Terms and conditions apply.
BIRDING
Kubu and Kwena is situated within the Sikunga Conservancy in the region formerly known as the Caprivi. Almost 500 bird species are home to this region which makes it a birder's paradise. Whether you are a hobbyist or serious ornithologist, it is the ideal location to connect with nature in this spectacular setting.
BOAT CRUISEs & CAGED RIVER POOL
Experience the mighty Zambezi by booking a leisurely boat cruise. Daily trips can be arranged, including early morning birding trips, mid day beach braai excursions or a sunset cruise, making this the perfect family or group outing.
Our caged river pool provides an unforgettable way to cool down in the African sun leaving you refreshed and rejuvenated.
FATBIKES
For the adventurous at heart, fatbikes can be rented at N$290 per bicycle or outing. Kindly note that these are not available to minors for riding around the camp.
The Zambezi region, 31 Aug - 6 Sep 2024, will play host to a fatbike cycling tour in a pristine natural environment, with tiger fishing, birding, sunset views and the world famous Chobe wildlife from a boat – packaged into a six-day experience of a lifetime!
